Completion of My E-Portfolio

April 30, 2022

Over the course of the semester, I have been learning and creating new content and it is all in a centralized place My Website/E-Portfolio. Initially the idea of an E-Portfolio sounded silly to me. But now that I have completed it, I see how useful it is to have all my creative work in one place. When we were asked in January to consider our brand, I was shocked because I had no idea what that meant but now, I am proud to say my E-portfolio is exactly what I hoped it would be.

I began working on my E-Portfolio by selecting the aesthetic of the page. I wanted it to be fun and cheerful while still looking professional. I believe I have been able to create the perfect platform to showcase me.

Celebration of the year

My E- Portfolio in a sense has become a celebration of all I have learned and accomplished this year. Since it includes all my projects, I am able to see how I have grown into a better storytelling over the course of the semester.

I am most proud when I look back on my individual video. When this assignment first began, I was so nervous because I didn’t think I knew what I was doing but I got to learn on the job a little which has been so beneficially to myself as a storyteller. And now I have created a video that I am I am proud of and that I hope Sydney is able to share and use during her run!

I am so grateful to have taken Digital Storytelling this year. I was telling my dad the other day that I have learned more translatable skills in this class than I could ever imagine. Although I don’t plan on going into a marketing or storytelling world, I am now able to market myself and things that matter to me to help create positive change.
